He lives by the principle that women are only good for life’s manly pleasures. Commitment and marriage does not exist in his vocabulary.He gets paid big money for doing what the Hollywood heroes cannot do, living a lavish lifestyle – wine, women and parties.Then, there is the hot headed Simrita Rai (Kareena Kapoor). A part time super model who aspires to become a surgeon, Simrita does not see the need to have a man in her life. Her everyday experiences have thought her that men are not just worth the effort.Soon, a dramatic twist of fate binds these people together in a manner they could never ever dreamt of in their wildest fantasies.Their first encounter was at Kamini (Amrita Arora) and Lucky’s (Aftab Shivdasani) wedding. Kamini happens to be Simrita’s best friend whilst Lucky is Viraj’s brother.Both Simrita and Viraj are opposed to this marriage and are desperate to stop it going ahead due to their personal differences.But forces of nature play a cruel trick on these people. It decides to throw them together in the most absurd, hilarious situations. And so the battle of the sexes begins depending on who throws the punches and who blows the kisses.Touted to be the most expensive Bollywood movie to be made, Kambakkht Ishq is the first Hindi film employing a string of Hollywood actors.These include Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and Brandon Routh in cameo roles. They will be playing themselves in the movie.The film, which has been in the news ever since its shooting schedule started, is eagerly awaited by Bollywood fans end of May 2009.
